The Hapur Sensation: Early Breakthroughs
Kartik Tyagi made his First-Class debut for Uttar Pradesh at just 16 years of age in October 2017. His discipline was immediate, maintaining an economy of 1.66 in his debut match. Following impressive outings in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, he was fast-tracked into the national spotlight, becoming a cornerstone of India’s 2020 Under-19 World Cup campaign. Tyagi finished as India’s second-highest wicket-taker with 11 wickets, helping the team reach the final.
