Prashant Solanki’s professional journey began with a bang in the 2020-21 Vijay Hazare Trophy. Making his List A debut for Mumbai against Puducherry, he stunned onlookers by claiming a five-wicket haul (5/48). His rapid rise continued in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT), where his agility—boosted by a dedicated fitness journey where he lost nearly 20kg—made him a standout performer.

Chennai Super Kings (2022–2024): Initially a net bowler for CSK in 2021, Solanki was bought for a significant ₹1.20 Crore in the 2022 auction after an intense bidding war with Rajasthan Royals. Under the mentorship of MS Dhoni, he made his debut in 2022, famously taking 2/20 against Rajasthan Royals.

Maharashtra Shift (2023–Present): To seek more opportunities, Solanki moved from the Mumbai domestic circuit to Maharashtra.
