Deepak Chahar: The Sultan of Swing Deepak Chahar’s career began with one of the most remarkable debuts in cricket history, claiming 8/10 for Rajasthan to bundle out Hyderabad for just 21 runs. This clinical accuracy became his trademark. After starting his IPL journey with Rising Pune Supergiant, Chahar spent seven seasons with the Chennai Super Kings, where he flourished under the leadership of MS Dhoni as a specialist powerplay weapon.
A three-time IPL title winner, Chahar is also a history-maker for the Indian national team, holding the record for the best-ever T20I bowling figures by an Indian (6/7 against Bangladesh in 2019). Now spearheading the Mumbai Indians’ attack, his combination of elite swing and valuable lower-order batting makes him one of the most impactful all-rounders in the T20 format.
